Mathé and Eveline are a special couple. And by couple we’re referring to them as business partners. “We were brought together years ago by our accountant,” Mathé reflects. “I was already growing tomatoes and was looking for ways to expand. Eveline was growing bell peppers and wanted to get away from bulk production." This was the beginning of their partnership. “I sold my own company and we continued here together, growing plum and cherry tomatoes. We also have our own packaging company for packing tomatoes. This is intended for our own produce, but also for third parties. So our company has two lines of operations. Packaging forms perhaps the biggest part of the business these days.”
